At the the Family Fun Fair..

Here are a few pictures of the Physical Health portion of the Des Plaines Healthy Community Partnership's participation in the 2008 and 2009 Family Fun Fair. This picture shows us giving out one of the bike helmets we passed to Des Plaines children . We also passed out information on bike safety, copies of One Lap of Des Plaines, and R.E. I. donated the service of a bike mechanic to perform bike safety inspections/minor repairs.

The Des Plaines Healthy Community Partnership is a partnership of local health and social service organizations meeting monthly to help create a better future for the citizens of Des Plaines Illinois. Come join us at a meeting on the first Thursday of the month (except for august) at 8:00 A. M. at the Prairie Lakes Community Center (515 Thacker St., in the Prairie Room).
